LogConv is a small utility used to convert Amateur Radio log files from one format to another.
LogConv currently supports ADIF, Cabrillo, CT9, CT10, EQF and TR Log files as input files and can output both ADIF and Cabrillo formatted files.
- GUI and Command line versions - Choose the interface of your choice.
- Normalization of QSO data - In ADIF output, fields of information are broken out into separate fields, providing more visibility into what was exchanged. For example, LogConv knows that a zone exchange in IARU is an ITU Zone and in CQWW it's a CQ Zone and places them in the properly marked fields.
- Extrapolation of QSO data - Contest exchanges contain a minimal amount of information. LogConv can optionally consult an internal database of geographic information that will expose additional information that can be implied from what was exchanged. For example, work someone in Sweepstakes and he/she sends you SCV as the section. With extrapolation LogConv can deduce that the station's state is California, CQ Zone is 3, ITU Zone is 6 and Continent is NA. It will add these fields to the ADIF output file if the extrapolation option is enabled, making awards tracking easier.
LogConv is licensed software, but the $5 cost is modest. You can purchase LogConv online using a credit or debit card.
